10:30 — OPENING CEREMONY Official opening ceremony of the International Fair of School and Educational Tourism, in the presence of civil, religious, political and administrative authorities.

15:00 — FILI MERIDIANI TALK "ARBËRESH HERITAGE AS AN EDUCATIONAL LAB"

Led by Fili Meridiani A meeting dedicated to Arbëresh heritage as a space for knowledge, experience and learning, connecting identity, memory, traditions, culture and new generations. Cultural heritage thus becomes a true educational lab, where knowledge of communities and their traditions can turn into a learning experience and an opportunity for school and educational tourism.

 

17:00 — SEMINAR "A HERITAGE TO LIVE: IDENTITY, MEMORY AND FUTURE"

Led by UNPLI (National Union of Italian Pro Loco Associations) Speaker: Prof. Fernando Panza A discussion on the value of cultural and intangible heritage as a tool for building identity, preserving memory and shaping the future.

The museum as a place of discovery, experience and creativity Led by the Directorate of the Archaeological Parks of Crotone and Sibari Speakers:

A heritage of history and culture, a new opportunity for local tourism Led by GAL Kroton (Local Action Group) A meeting dedicated to promoting the ancient transhumance routes as historical, cultural and landscape heritage and as a possible itinerary for experiential and sustainable tourism.

"SUSTAINABLE TOURISM STARTS WITH WASTE"

Recycling, separate collection and environmental education for cleaner, more welcoming places Led by Akrea S.p.A. A meeting dedicated to environmental education and good practices for proper waste management, from separate collection to recycling, with a focus on the role of citizens, tourism operators, businesses and visitors in building a culture of sustainability. Workshop goal: turning waste management from a simple daily practice into a tool for protecting the territory and enhancing the destination's tourism image.

Tourism and hospitality in Magna Graecia An in-depth session on tourism development and hospitality in the territory. Calabria that educates, welcomes and enhances.

9:00 — EDUCATIONAL TOUR OF THE TERRITORY

Guided visits for buyers and school and educational tourism operators, discovering the cultural, archaeological, landscape and food and wine heritage of the area.

A first-hand experience to get to know and try out itineraries, places, facilities and offers designed for school tourism and educational trips.
